Voting

You, the citizens of Cary, created the vision for the future of our Town through the Imagine Cary Community Plan. On October 8, it’s time to once again make your voice heard by casting a vote to decide whether or not to approve each of these bonds.

Potential Outcomes:

  • If approved by voters, the referendum sets maximum limits for borrowing in each of the two categories: $112 million for parks projects and $113 million for transportation projects. These projects are located throughout Cary and would begin over the next 10 years.
  • There is no contingency finance plan for these projects. Therefore, if voters do not approve the authority to finance them, they will likely not move forward in the next five to ten years.

To vote on this referendum, you must be a registered voter in Cary. Not sure if you’re registered? Check the voter search. Need to register? Visit the links below for your county.
